Rivia Mind, a psychiatrist-owned, hybrid private practice of psychiatrists, therapists, and mental health professionals, opened a new office in New Haven, expanding in-person psychiatric and therapy services to complement the practice's existing virtual services statewide.
New Haven is home to a diverse and growing community, including students, young professionals, families, and individuals navigating major life transitions such as leaving home for college, entering the workforce, and building independence. The new office gives patients another way to access in-network, personalized mental health care as they navigate these changes.
Raymond Raad, MD, CEO and Co-founder of Rivia Mind, said, "Early adulthood is an exciting time of life, but also one that can naturally involve a range of challenges. As a hybrid practice, we're excited to expand our presence in New Haven and offer the community another way to access high-quality mental health care. Whether someone is adjusting to college, beginning a career, or simply looking for support through a period of change, we want to make it easier to find care that fits their needs."
The expansion strengthens Rivia Mind's ability to support the broader New Haven community and its network of referring providers. In-network with most commercial insurance plans, the practice works with primary care providers, universities, schools, and community organizations to help individuals access support when needed.
Lindsey Sussman, COO of Rivia Mind, said, "New Haven is a vibrant community with people at many different stages of life, and we're excited to become part of it. As someone living in greater New Haven, I am proud to see Rivia Mind expand its presence here and become a local resource for compassionate, high-quality mental health care."
