Quinnipiac University’s School of Nursing will host its Simulation Showcase on Thursday, December 11, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the North Haven Campus. The event offers a close look at how the School prepares future nurses through immersive, hands-on learning and a strong foundation in holistic, patient-centered care.

Guests will tour the School’s advanced simulation environments, where technology helps students develop clinical judgment and confidence. Faculty and School leadership will share updates, answer questions, and highlight how Quinnipiac’s programs are evolving to meet the needs of today’s healthcare workforce.

Attendees will rotate through five interactive stations, including birthing, pediatric, and adult simulation rooms; an Acute Care NP open lab equipped with ultrasound and airway trainers; and a skills lab featuring Sim Junior and IV practice. Additional demonstrations will include standardized patient scenarios in palliative and geriatric care, along with the “Have Bones Will Travel” orthopedic station. A Virtual Reality experience will showcase how emerging technologies are shaping nursing education.

As one of only 17 nursing schools nationwide endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation, Quinnipiac is committed to whole-patient care, inclusivity, and interprofessional collaboration supported by more than 300 clinical partners.
