Wellinks, a New Haven-based virtual-first cardiopulmonary care company, appointed Andrew Agwunobi, MD, MBA, and Mike Waters to its Board of Directors, alongside three new leadership appointments.
Agwunobi is Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President for Health Affairs at UConn Health, with a career spanning academic medicine, health systems, government, and healthcare services, including prior roles as President of Humana's Home Solutions business and President and CEO of Grady Health System. Waters brings more than two decades of experience in strategic operations, having served as Chief Operating Officer of Teladoc Health and more than 15 years at Providence Health.

Stephanie Solich was named Vice President of Customer Success, bringing over 20 years of experience in health system partnerships and revenue cycle strategy. Stephanie Willard, MHA, RRT-NPS, was promoted to Vice President of Clinical Operations, bringing over 15 years of respiratory care experience, and Andrew Brimer was promoted to Vice President of Technology, bringing over 10 years of healthcare technology development experience.

Wellinks combines virtual chronic care management with remote patient monitoring using its proprietary, FDA-cleared Spire Remote Patient Monitoring System, focused on reducing acute care utilization, readmissions, and total cost of care for people living with chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
