Hartford HealthCare (HHC) has announced the expansion of its artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled virtual care partnership with K Health into specialty care, beginning with endocrinology, making HHC 24/7 the first platform in the health system to offer AI-assisted virtual specialty visits to Connecticut patients.

HHC 24/7 launched in March 2025 as a same-day virtual primary care service connecting patients with Hartford HealthCare Medical Group providers at any time of day through a mobile platform. The endocrinology expansion adds specialty-trained Advanced Practice Providers to the platform and allows primary and specialty care providers to access HHC 24/7 through their existing clinical workflows, with the platform handling scheduling, intake, and clinical notetaking at the point of care.

The expansion reflects a broader shift in how AI can support longitudinal management of complex, chronic conditions across the full care continuum. Rather than requiring patients to navigate separate systems or face extended wait times when their care moves from primary to specialty, the integrated platform is designed to keep that transition within a single environment.

HHC 24/7 is available to patients across Connecticut, with endocrinology as the first specialty offered through the expanded platform.
