Yale Cancer Center and Smilow Cancer Hospital will join Debbie's Dream Foundation to host a free community symposium on gastroesophageal cancer September 9, 2026 in New Haven, offering the latest treatment and clinical trial information.
The event, Understanding Gastroesophageal Cancer: A Patient and Community Symposium, is designed for patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community members. Attendees will receive updates on early detection, diagnosis, treatment options, clinical trials, nutrition, wellness, and supportive care, along with personal perspectives from individuals affected by gastroesophageal cancer. The program concludes with an interactive "Ask the Experts" discussion, where a multidisciplinary team of specialists will answer attendee questions.
