The Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) will hold a hybrid public informational meeting August 26, 2026, in Hartford on 2027 health insurance rate filings for individual and small group plans, including those on Access Health CT.

The meeting will include presentations from health insurers on requested rate changes for plans offered on and off Access Health CT, the state-sponsored exchange. CID, along with other state agencies and elected officials, will then question insurers before the meeting opens for public comment.

The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. in Room 1D of the Legislative Office Building at 300 Capitol Avenue in Hartford, held both in person and virtually.

Members of the public may offer oral comments, limited to three minutes per speaker, either virtually or in person. Virtual speakers must register by emailing [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on August 24. In-person speakers may sign up starting at 8:30 a.m. on August 26 in Room 1D, with public comment scheduled for early afternoon.

Written comments may be emailed to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on August 24. The online public comment period began June 5, 2026, and will remain open until CID approves final rates.
